Creating a comic was a long time dream of mine. I collected sketches, notes and scribbles for years. At some point in 2010 I decided I was going to realise this comic. I had only a rough idea of the story at the time. I knew I was going to need help on that part. I might be an artist who likes to tell stories... but I am not much of a writer. One of my friends introduced me to Charlotte English, and when we started talking about the project I knew she was the team-mate I was hoping for. We began to reshape the pile of scribbles and notes into an actual story. Then the 'real' work (and fun) started. We have put a lot of dedication and love in this project and we hope you will join us for the ride!

Charlotte E. English (Writer)
Charlotte E. English was born and raised in one of the oldest cities in the UK, and grew up to be a decided history buff. Now a resident of the Netherlands, she enjoys cooking, crafts, gaming and, of course, reading. She writes fantasy novels alongside her work on Spindrift.
If you want to catch up with her, visit her website, or look her up on Twitter, Facebook or Goodreads.

Support Although the authors do the heavy lifting, we have a team of supportive friends and family that make our lives a lot easier. There’s a few people that I’d like to credit specifically:
- Maurice Kroes (Elsa's better half, mental support and proofreader)
- Lesley v d Laar (Pegasister, and proofreader :3)
- Kilian Marjew (Who helped me build this very website :D)
- Ally Rom Colthoff (proofreader of awesomeness)
- Eva Strikkers (Intern 2012 Feb/July, creator of 'Winged' a Spindrift Short story)
- Pryank Vyras (For all the awesome tech support with the old website!)
- Mathias Dellaert (For creating FCP & my RSS script)

Q: Will the comic be available in print? Yes it will. We're working on the very thing. Just grant us some time to get all the content print ready and figure out all the details of the print run. There will be Spindrift books in the future, and we’ll shout it of the rooftops once there are XD.
Q: Will you be at comic convention X or Y? I'm located in Europe, which makes it difficult for me to attend to conventions in the USA. If there’s any convention appearances planned, they’ll appear in the schedule in the sidebar on the left :).
Q: Can I support the comic? Absolutely. Spread the word, share the link to our website, leave comments on the pages (your feedback is a huge motivator for us :D). And finally, if you appreciate our hard work, consider becoming a patron or donating.
Q: How is the comic made? The comic is digitally drawn using Photoshop and a Wacom Tablet. Creating a step by step 'tutorial' is very high on my things-to-do list :).
Q: How long does each page take to make? It takes about 3 or 4 days from script until the final coloured page.
